Hawaii Couples Photography

Aloha, I’m Nicole and i’m a couples photographer based on the North Shore of Oahu. Today, i’ll share with you some of my favorite spots to have a couples session on Oahu. I’m definitely a fan of the great outdoors and hope that you end up choosing a location that you absolutely love for your session.

Kahanamoku Beach

If you want a location close to the conveniences of the city and near Waikiki, this is my recommendation. There are people around as it is a city; but, it is definitely a great spot!

Lanikai Pillbox

The next spot, is for the early risers. This is ranked as one of the top sunrise places in the world. If you and your partner are up for an early morning. We can do the moderate 45 minute hike up to the Lanikai Pillbox for sunrise. This spot will provide a stunning sunrise.

Crouching Lion

Next up, Crouching Lion. It’s a hike that you’ll want to change into nice clothing at the top of. The hike is moderate and can take 30 minutes to an hour to the initial view depending on your hiking pace and how far along the trail you travel. There’s a bit of red dirt on the way up to a gorgeous view that you won’t forget!

Oahu Beaches

Honestly, there are so many beautiful beaches on Oahu. It really depends if you want secluded, lush, arid, or where you would like to be on the island. There are so many options that we can talk through to determine the beach that makes the most sense for you. Below is an image of a beach on the west side.

Manoa Falls

If your heart is set on a waterfall, the one I recommend the most is Manoa Falls. Not only is it a relatively easy waterfall hike, it only takes like 30 minutes to get to the gorgeous viewpoint.
