Crouching Lion Mountain-Top Couples Adventure Session

Taking couples to beautiful places is one of my favorite things to do! Not only are we in a beautiful place; but, the location allows couples to get away from everyday life and focus on enjoying the experience together. I want couples to view the photo session as a fun date instead of a nervous in front of the camera moment.

To create such an environment, I start by getting to know the couple. Every couple is unique and highlighting your story is important. We talk about what you hope to capture in terms of adjectives and feelings. We then get the fun of pairing your story and our ideas into a session together. After we plan together, the fun begins. You’ll have a good idea of what to expect and have a beautiful location to enjoy time together.

I’m thankful to be based on the North Shore of Oahu and available to go all over the world to document love — so, if you dream it; we’ll do it!

Crouching Lion is the best for couples who enjoy a moderate hike, don’t mind carrying an outfit change up a mountain, and don’t mind a bit of orange dust or mud depending on weather.

We started the ascent at first light and missed a turn; so, literally climbed up the mountain to the second lookout peak. These two were such troopers for keeping going even when it got challenging. This hike has some climbing-like sections so be sure to bring good shoes (and change into the cute ones or go barefoot at the viewpoint).

I prefer taking couples to the second viewpoint because it’s higher up, less crowded on a busy hiking day, and perfect for taking in the views.
